Obviously the woman loved Booger but it is an extremely selfish act to bring any animal into this world when so many are healthy companion animals are put down every day. All of my animals are rescues and each one is very grateful to have been given a second chance. $50,000 would have made a world of difference in the lives of so many animals at her local shelter. If they clone the dog, then it is an exact replica of the original, right? Doesn't that mean that each of those puppies will eventually die of cancer? Nothing would bring me more joy. I miss him terribly. And maybe someday this will be more affordable to the general public.
